| إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا {١} |
1. When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake |
| وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا {٢} |
2. and it throws out its burden, |
| وَقَالَ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا {٣} |
3. the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" |
| يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا {٤} |
4. On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, |
| بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا {٥} |
5. having been inspired by your Lord. |
| يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ {٦} |
6. On that day, people will come out of their graves in different groups to see (the results of) their own deeds. |
| فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ {٧} |
7. Whoever has done an atom´s weight of good, |
| وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ {٨} |
8. will see it and whoever has done an atom´s weight of evil, will also see it. |
