 |
| إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ {١} |
1. Verily, We sent it (the Quran) down on the Night of Power! |
| وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ {٢} |
2. And what shall make you know what the Night of Power is? |
| لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ {٣} |
3. The Night of Power is better than a thousand months! |
| تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ {٤} |
4. The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord with every decree. |
| سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ {٥} |
5. Peace it is until the rising of the dawn! |
