| وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ {١} |
1. And/by the figs and the olives. |
| وَطُورِ سِينِينَ {٢} |
2. And/by Seneen Mountain. |
| وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ {٣} |
3. And/by this the country/land/city , the faithful/secure . |
| لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ {٤} |
4. We had (E) created the human/mankind in best chronometry/cartography (methods of calculating maps and charts)/straightness (formation). |
| ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ {٥} |
5. Then We returned him (to) lowest/more lowly/more mean lowly/mean (lowliest) . |
| إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ {٦} |
6. Except those who believed and made/did the correct/righteous deeds, so for them (is) a not interrupted/weakened reward . |
| فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ {٧} |
7. So what makes you lie/deny/falsify after with the religion? |
| أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ {٨} |
8. Is God not with (the) most judicious (of) the judges/rulers? |
