| وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ {١} |
1. I CALL TO witness the Fig and the Olive, |
| وَطُورِ سِينِينَ {٢} |
2. The Mount Sinai, |
| وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ {٣} |
3. And this Soil Secure, |
| لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ {٤} |
4. That We created man of finest possibilities, |
| ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ {٥} |
5. Then brought him down to the lowest of the low, |
| إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ {٦} |
6. Except those who believe and do the right, for whom there is reward undiminished. |
| فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ {٧} |
7. Who should then make you deny the Judgement after this? |
| أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ {٨} |
8. Is not God the most equitable of all judges? |
