 |
| أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ {١} |
1. Did We not widen your bosom? |
| وَوَضَعْنَا عَنْكَ وِزْرَكَ {٢} |
2. And relieve you of the burden - |
| الَّذِي أَنْقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ {٣} |
3. Which had broken your back? |
| وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ {٤} |
4. And We have exalted your remembrance for you (O dear Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him). |
| فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا {٥} |
5. So indeed with hardship is ease. |
| إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا {٦} |
6. Indeed with hardship is ease. |
| فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانْصَبْ {٧} |
7. So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. |
| وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ {٨} |
8. And incline towards your Lord. |
