 |
| وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا {١} |
1. And/by the messengers/sent/angles (F) , successively/sand dunes/elevated points . |
| فَالْعَاصِفَاتِ عَصْفًا {٢} |
2. So the stormy/turbulent winds , violently/turbulently. |
| وَالنَّاشِرَاتِ نَشْرًا {٣} |
3. And/by the spreading/extending/winds (for clouds) , spreading out/extending. |
| فَالْفَارِقَاتِ فَرْقًا {٤} |
4. So the separated clouds/separators of right and wrong , separating. |
| فَالْمُلْقِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا {٥} |
5. So the throwing/throwing away a reminder/remembrance (delivering messages). |
| عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا {٦} |
6. An excuse/fault or sins or (a) warning/notice. |
| إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَاقِعٌ {٧} |
7. That truly what you are being promised (is) happening (E) . |
| فَإِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ {٨} |
8. So when/if the stars/planets were eliminated/effaced . |
| وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ فُرِجَتْ {٩} |
9. And when/if the sky/space opened/split open . |
| وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ {١٠} |
10. And when/if the mountains were uprooted and dispersed/exploded . |
| وَإِذَا الرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ {١١} |
11. And when/if the messengers were appointed a time. |
| لِأَيِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ {١٢} |
12. To which day/time it was delayed. |
| لِيَوْمِ الْفَصْلِ {١٣} |
13. To the Judgment Day/Separation Day/Resurrection Day . |
| وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ {١٤} |
14. And what makes you know what the Judgment Day/Separation Day/Resurrection Day (is)? |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {١٥} |
15. Calamity/scandal (on) that day to the liars/deniers/falsifiers . |
| أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ الْأَوَّلِينَ {١٦} |
16. Did We not destroy the first/beginners? |
| ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ الْآخِرِينَ {١٧} |
17. Then We make them followed (by) the lasts/others . |
| كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ {١٨} |
18. As/like that We make/do with the criminals/sinners. |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {١٩} |
19. Calamity/scandal (on) that day to the liars/deniers/falsifiers. |
| أَلَمْ نَخْلُقْكُمْ مِنْ مَاءٍ مَهِينٍ {٢٠} |
20. Did We not create you from despised/humiliated (discarded) water? |
| فَجَعَلْنَاهُ فِي قَرَارٍ مَكِينٍ {٢١} |
21. So We made/put it in a highly positioned/established settlement/affixation . |
| إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَعْلُومٍ {٢٢} |
22. To a known predestiny/estimation . |
| فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ الْقَادِرُونَ {٢٣} |
23. So We evaluated and measured precisely, so blessed/praised (are) the capable/able . |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٢٤} |
24. Calamity/scandal (on) that day to the liars/deniers/falsifiers. |
| أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا {٢٥} |
25. Did We not make the earth/Planet Earth encompassing/containing internally and externally ? |
| أَحْيَاءً وَأَمْوَاتًا {٢٦} |
26. Alive and deads. |
| وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَاتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمْ مَاءً فُرَاتًا {٢٧} |
27. And We made/put in it anchors/mountains high/towering , and We gave you drink (from) very sweet/fresh water. |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٢٨} |
28. Calamity/scandal (on) that day to the liars/deniers/falsifiers. |
| انْطَلِقُوا إِلَىٰ مَا كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ {٢٩} |
29. Leave/go/set out to what you were with it lying/denying/falsifying. |
| انْطَلِقُوا إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِي ثَلَاثِ شُعَبٍ {٣٠} |
30. Leave/go/set out to shade of three branches/three off shoots . |
| لَا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِنَ اللَّهَبِ {٣١} |
31. Not shading and nor enriches/suffices (protects) from the flame of a smokeless fire. |
| إِنَّهَا تَرْمِي بِشَرَرٍ كَالْقَصْرِ {٣٢} |
32. That it truly throws with sparks as (big) as the castle/palace . |
| كَأَنَّهُ جِمَالَتٌ صُفْرٌ {٣٣} |
33. As though it (is) camels yellow . |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٣٤} |
34. Calamity/scandal (on) that day to the liars/deniers/falsifiers. |
| هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنْطِقُونَ {٣٥} |
35. That (is) a day/time they do not speak. |
| وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ {٣٦} |
36. And nor (it) be permitted/allowed for them so (that) they apologize/excuse themselves . |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٣٧} |
37. Calamity/scandal (on) that day to the liars/deniers/falsifiers. |
| هَٰذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَاكُمْ وَالْأَوَّلِينَ {٣٨} |
38. That (is) the Judgment Day/Separation Day/Resurrection Day We gathered/collected you and the first/beginners. |
| فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ {٣٩} |
39. So if (there) was for you (a) plot/conspiracy , so plot/conspire against Me . |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٤٠} |
40. Calamity/scandal (on) that day to the liars/deniers/falsifiers. |
| إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَالٍ وَعُيُونٍ {٤١} |
41. That truly the fearing and obeying (are) in shades and water springs/wells. |
| وَفَوَاكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ {٤٢} |
42. And fruits from what they desire/crave . |
| كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ {٤٣} |
43. Eat and drink pleasurable/wholesome because (of) what you were making/doing . |
| إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ {٤٤} |
44. That truly like that We reimburse the good doers. |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٤٥} |
45. Calamity/scandal (on) that day to the liars/deniers/falsifiers. |
| كُلُوا وَتَمَتَّعُوا قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُمْ مُجْرِمُونَ {٤٦} |
46. Eat and enjoy little that you truly are criminals/sinners. |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٤٧} |
47. Calamity/scandal (on) that day to the liars/deniers/falsifiers. |
| وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوا لَا يَرْكَعُونَ {٤٨} |
48. And when/if (it) was said to them: "Bow ." They do not bow . |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٤٩} |
49. Calamity/scandal (on) that day to the liars/deniers/falsifiers. |
| فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَ {٥٠} |
50. So with which information/speech after it (do) they believe (in it)?452 |
