 |
| وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا {١} |
1. By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, |
| فَالْعَاصِفَاتِ عَصْفًا {٢} |
2. by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, |
| وَالنَّاشِرَاتِ نَشْرًا {٣} |
3. by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, |
| فَالْفَارِقَاتِ فَرْقًا {٤} |
4. by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong |
| فَالْمُلْقِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا {٥} |
5. and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) |
| عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا {٦} |
6. to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: |
| إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَاقِعٌ {٧} |
7. that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. |
| فَإِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ {٨} |
8. Then the stars will lose their light. |
| وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ فُرِجَتْ {٩} |
9. Heavens will rent asunder. |
| وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ {١٠} |
10. The mountains will be blown away as dust. |
| وَإِذَا الرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ {١١} |
11. The Messengers will receive their appointments. |
| لِأَيِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ {١٢} |
12. If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" |
| لِيَوْمِ الْفَصْلِ {١٣} |
13. one will be told,"To the Day of Distinction". |
| وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ {١٤} |
14. Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {١٥} |
15. On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God´s revelations! |
| أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ الْأَوَّلِينَ {١٦} |
16. Did We not destroy the ancient people |
| ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ الْآخِرِينَ {١٧} |
17. and make others settle after them in their land? |
| كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ {١٨} |
18. Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {١٩} |
19. On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God´s revelations! |
| أَلَمْ نَخْلُقْكُمْ مِنْ مَاءٍ مَهِينٍ {٢٠} |
20. Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid |
| فَجَعَلْنَاهُ فِي قَرَارٍ مَكِينٍ {٢١} |
21. and place it in a secure place |
| إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَعْلُومٍ {٢٢} |
22. for an appointed time? |
| فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ الْقَادِرُونَ {٢٣} |
23. Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٢٤} |
24. On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! |
| أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا {٢٥} |
25. Did We not make the earth as a gathering place |
| أَحْيَاءً وَأَمْوَاتًا {٢٦} |
26. for the living and the dead, |
| وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَاتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمْ مَاءً فُرَاتًا {٢٧} |
27. place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٢٨} |
28. On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God´s revelations! |
| انْطَلِقُوا إِلَىٰ مَا كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ {٢٩} |
29. Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. |
| انْطَلِقُوا إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِي ثَلَاثِ شُعَبٍ {٣٠} |
30. Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns |
| لَا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِنَ اللَّهَبِ {٣١} |
31. which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. |
| إِنَّهَا تَرْمِي بِشَرَرٍ كَالْقَصْرِ {٣٢} |
32. The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers |
| كَأَنَّهُ جِمَالَتٌ صُفْرٌ {٣٣} |
33. and yellow camels. |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٣٤} |
34. On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God´s revelations! |
| هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنْطِقُونَ {٣٥} |
35. On that day they will not be able to speak, |
| وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ {٣٦} |
36. nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٣٧} |
37. On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God´s revelations! |
| هَٰذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَاكُمْ وَالْأَوَّلِينَ {٣٨} |
38. That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. |
| فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ {٣٩} |
39. If you have any plans, use them. |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٤٠} |
40. On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God´s revelations! |
| إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَالٍ وَعُيُونٍ {٤١} |
41. The pious ones will rest amid the shade, springs, |
| وَفَوَاكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ {٤٢} |
42. and fruits of the kind which they desire. |
| كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ {٤٣} |
43. (They will be told), "Eat and drink in good health as a reward for what you have done". |
| إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ {٤٤} |
44. Thus do We reward the righteous ones. |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٤٥} |
45. On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God´s revelations! |
| كُلُوا وَتَمَتَّعُوا قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُمْ مُجْرِمُونَ {٤٦} |
46. (Disbelievers), eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while. You are certainly sinful ones. |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٤٧} |
47. On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God´s revelations! |
| وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوا لَا يَرْكَعُونَ {٤٨} |
48. When they are told to say their prayers, they do not bow down (in prayer). |
| وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ {٤٩} |
49. On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God´s revelations! |
| فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَ {٥٠} |
50. In which word other than the Quran will they believe? |
