| الرَّحْمَٰنُ {١} |
1. The Beneficent (God) |
| عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ {٢} |
2. has taught the Quran to (Muhammad). |
| خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ {٣} |
3. He created the human being |
| عَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ {٤} |
4. and has taught him intelligible speech. |
| الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ {٥} |
5. The sun and moon rotate in a predestined orbit. |
| وَالنَّجْمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ {٦} |
6. The plants and trees prostrate before Him. |
| وَالسَّمَاءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِيزَانَ {٧} |
7. He raised the heavens and set up everything in balance, |
| أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِي الْمِيزَانِ {٨} |
8. so that you would maintain justice. |
| وَأَقِيمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ {٩} |
9. Therefore, maintain just measure and do not transgress against the Balance. |
| وَالْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ {١٠} |
10. He spread out the earth for the people. |
| فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْأَكْمَامِ {١١} |
11. There exists all kinds of fruits, palm-trees with sheathed blossoms, |
| وَالْحَبُّ ذُو الْعَصْفِ وَالرَّيْحَانُ {١٢} |
12. grain with its husk and aromatic herbs. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {١٣} |
13. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? |
| خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ {١٤} |
14. He created the human being from clay like that used for pottery |
| وَخَلَقَ الْجَانَّ مِنْ مَارِجٍ مِنْ نَارٍ {١٥} |
15. and jinn from the many colored flames of fire. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {١٦} |
16. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? |
| رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ الْمَغْرِبَيْنِ {١٧} |
17. He is the Lord of the East and West through all seasons. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {١٨} |
18. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? |
| مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ {١٩} |
19. He has made the two oceans meet each other, |
| بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَا يَبْغِيَانِ {٢٠} |
20. but has created a barrier between them so that they will not merge totally. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٢١} |
21. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? |
| يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا اللُّؤْلُؤُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ {٢٢} |
22. From the two oceans comes pearls and coral. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٢٣} |
23. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| وَلَهُ الْجَوَارِ الْمُنْشَآتُ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْأَعْلَامِ {٢٤} |
24. By His command, the ships with raised masts sail on the sea like mountains. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٢٥} |
25. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? |
| كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ {٢٦} |
26. Everyone on earth is destined to die. |
| وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ {٢٧} |
27. Only the Supreme Essence of your Glorious and Gracious Lord will remain forever. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٢٨} |
28. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? |
| يَسْأَلُهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأْنٍ {٢٩} |
29. Everyone in the heavens and the earth depends on Him. His task in preserving His creation is continuous. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٣٠} |
30. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? |
| سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ الثَّقَلَانِ {٣١} |
31. Jinn and mankind, We shall certainly settle your accounts. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٣٢} |
32. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ تَنْفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانْفُذُوا ۚ لَا تَنْفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ {٣٣} |
33. Jinn and mankind, if you can penetrate the diameters of the heavens and the earth, do so, but you cannot do so without power and authority. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٣٤} |
34. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِنْ نَارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنْتَصِرَانِ {٣٥} |
35. Flames of fire and molten brass will be released against you and you will not be able to protect yourselves. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٣٦} |
36. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? |
| فَإِذَا انْشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِ {٣٧} |
37. (On the Day of Judgment) when the heavens are rent asunder they will have a flowery color and flow like oil. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٣٨} |
38. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? |
| فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَا يُسْأَلُ عَنْ ذَنْبِهِ إِنْسٌ وَلَا جَانٌّ {٣٩} |
39. On that day there will be no need to ask mankind or jinn about his sin |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٤٠} |
40. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَاهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِي وَالْأَقْدَامِ {٤١} |
41. The guilty ones will be recognized by their faces and will be seized by their forelocks and feet. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٤٢} |
42. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? |
| هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ {٤٣} |
43. (The guilty ones will be told), "This is hell which the sinful ones denied". |
| يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ آنٍ {٤٤} |
44. They will run around in blazing fire and boiling water. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٤٥} |
45. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ {٤٦} |
46. Those who fear their Lord will have two gardens |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٤٧} |
47. (jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| ذَوَاتَا أَفْنَانٍ {٤٨} |
48. full of various trees. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٤٩} |
49. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ {٥٠} |
50. In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٥١} |
51. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? |
| فِيهِمَا مِنْ كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ {٥٢} |
52. In them there are pairs of each kind of fruit. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٥٣} |
53. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشٍ بَطَائِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ ۚ وَجَنَى الْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍ {٥٤} |
54. (The dwellers of Paradise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from the two gardens. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٥٥} |
55. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| فِيهِنَّ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنْسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ {٥٦} |
56. There will be bashful maidens untouched by mankind or jinn before. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٥٧} |
57. jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny |
| كَأَنَّهُنَّ الْيَاقُوتُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ {٥٨} |
58. who are as beautiful as rubies and pearls. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٥٩} |
59. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| هَلْ جَزَاءُ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ {٦٠} |
60. Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٦١} |
61. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| وَمِنْ دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ {٦٢} |
62. Besides this, there will be two other gardens. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٦٣} |
63. - jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny |
| مُدْهَامَّتَانِ {٦٤} |
64. - dark green in color. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٦٥} |
65. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ {٦٦} |
66. In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٦٧} |
67. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| فِيهِمَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَنَخْلٌ وَرُمَّانٌ {٦٨} |
68. In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٦٩} |
69. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| فِيهِنَّ خَيْرَاتٌ حِسَانٌ {٧٠} |
70. There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٧١} |
71. - jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny |
| حُورٌ مَقْصُورَاتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ {٧٢} |
72. - with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٧٣} |
73. - jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny |
| لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنْسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ {٧٤} |
74. - untouched by jinn or mankind before. |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٧٥} |
75. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍ {٧٦} |
76. They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions |
| فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ {٧٧} |
77. (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? |
| تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ {٧٨} |
78. Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. |
