| قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ {١} | 1. Say thou; I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak. |
| مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ {٢} | 2. From the evil of that which He hath created ú |
| وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ {٣} | 3. And from the evil of the darken when it cometh, |
| وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ {٤} | 4. And from the evil of the women blowers upon knots, |
| وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ {٥} | 5. And from the evil of the envier when he envieth. |
