| قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ {١} | 1. (Muhammad), say, "He is the only God. |
| اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ {٢} | 2. God is Absolute. |
| لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ {٣} | 3. He neither begets nor was He begotten. |
| وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ {٤} | 4. There is no one equal to Him. |
