| تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ {١} |
1. Father of the flame of a smokeless fire`s (known as Prophet Mohammad`s uncle) hand was destroyed/lost, and destroyed/lost. |
| مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ {٢} |
2. His property/possession/wealth and what he gained/acquired did not enrich/suffice from him. |
| سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ {٣} |
3. He will roast/suffer/burn (in) a fire that of (a) flame of smokeless fire . |
| وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ {٤} |
4. And his woman (wife) the fire wood`s/fuel`s carrier/lifter . |
| فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِنْ مَسَدٍ {٥} |
5. In her neck/beautiful neck (is a) rope from palm fiber tightly woven rope/an iron ring.479 |
