 |
| أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ {١} |
1. Have you considered him who calls the judgment (or Religion) a lie? |
| فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ {٢} |
2. He it is who pushes the orphan away; |
| وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ {٣} |
3. And urges not (others) to feed the needy. |
| فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُصَلِّينَ {٤} |
4. But woe to those who pray |
| الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ {٥} |
5. But are careless in their prayers, |
| الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ {٦} |
6. Who pretend for show |
| وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ {٧} |
7. Yet withhold small kindnesses (or necessaries). |
