| وَالْعَصْرِ {١} | 1. By the time, |
| إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ {٢} | 2. Verily man is in loss, |
| إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ {٣} | 3. But not those who themselves believe and work righteous works, and enjoin upon each other the truth, and enjoin upon each other endurance. |
