 |
| وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا {١} |
1. And those producing fire, striking! |
| فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا {٢} |
2. And those suddenly attacking at morn! |
| فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا {٣} |
3. Then thereby they raise dust, |
| فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا {٤} |
4. Then penetrate thereby gatherings -- |
| فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا {٥} |
5. Surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. |
| إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ {٦} |
6. And surely he is a witness of that. |
| وَإِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ {٧} |
7. And truly on account of the love of wealth he is niggardly. |
| وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ {٨} |
8. Knows he not when that which is in the graves is raised, |
| أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ {٩} |
9. And that which is in the breasts is made manifest? |
| وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ {١٠} |
10. Surely their Lord this day is Aware of them. |
| إِنَّ رَبَّهُمْ بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَخَبِيرٌ {١١} |
11. The calamity! |
